About Naomi Turrell

I'm looking for a new challenge. I'm not sure what it is yet but here's a bit about me. Maybe I'd be a good fit for your company or someone else you know. I've been in customer facing roles for 20+ years, primarily within hospitality and I've turned my hand to pretty much every department. In 2020 I became a business owner when I bought a franchise business with Pillow Partners; 2023 Short Term Rental Agent of the Year! As the business owner and property manager, I had to utilise every single skill I had learned from my hospitality background, every day. In managing nightly rates and online agents, booking guests, providing excellent customer service, managing housekeeping and maintenance, check in, check out and review management I became all the departments in one. Not only that but as the business owner it was my responsibility to ensure growth so I had to revisit my property management skills from 2009 as well as learning marketing, business planning, project management, cost analysis and dynamic pricing skills on the job. And I must admit I was pretty good at it! So good in fact that I quickly became a senior property manager within the wider company, providing mentoring and training to new employees and franchisees. So, during this time I have discovered that I'm a complete nerd for dynamic pricing, absolutely love that stuff. I also really enjoy the people management side of things, making sure a ship sails smoothly and that everyone is happy on board. I can deliver training and mentoring, with the right tools and can speak as confidently to one person as I can to a room full of people. I have NEBOSH General Certificate in H&S and am First Aid trained. I've undertaken business coaching to further develop my skills in marketing management and business planning and am a keen business networker. I'm absolutely not afraid of learning new software systems and enjoy the challenge. I'd love to find something in and around the realms of dynamic pricing, whatever industry that may be, but I'm also open to learning something completely new!
