Background
About Narayani Leonardo
Narayani is a Dominican-Ecuadorian American multi-disciplinary designer and art director based in NYC— specializing in digital design, visual research, graphic design and brand identity. Born and raised in New York, Narayani draws inspirations from her experiences within the Latin American diaspora with an emphasis on exploring and honoring past and present matriarchs. Her designs are rooted in establishing deep connections with people and their environments. Narayani aims to create etheral visual narratives that strike a balance between binary design ideals, evoking a sense of calm and serenity. Her design approach often challenges monolith beliefs in order to highlight the creativity of Latinx artists within the creative industry. Her creative process always involves weaving narratives that reflect the identities and experiences of underrepresented communities. website: narayani.design email: narayanileonardo.design@gmail.com ig:@narayani.leonardo
