About Narinder Chopra

My experience extends to over 30 years in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries; 27 years working in clinical development roles leading large global, multi-national programs or teams across US, Europe, Asia, LA, and parts of Africa. I have worked on R&D programs in multiple neurology indications, autoimmune diseases, respiratory, oncology and infectious diseases. I have considerable experience in all phases of development; on the R-to-D interface, proof of concept (PoC), pivotal registration studies, supported regulatory submissions and post marketing commitments, as well as running affiliate phase 4 studies. Over the approx. 8 years, I have established the Patient Centricity and Engagement team, creating the organization and processes to drive for inclusive Patient Focused Drug Development (PFDD), improved diversity in clinical trials and enhanced recruitment with retention whilst leveraging digital opportunities. I have great cultural awareness having worked globally, lived in Asia Pacific and USA briefly, and travelled extensively. My significant involvement with multiple employee resource networks has allowed me to champion and promote diversity, inclusion, awareness and understanding which I believe, drives greater connection and productivity. I am an enthusiastic, dynamic, empathetic leader with the right communication skills for all levels of an organization, partnership, or collaboration. My passion lies in putting the patient at the heart of inclusive drug development.
