About Narinder Sindher

Being an immigrant myself-myself familiar with the issues which the refugee families, youth, and children face, and I am well aware of the challenging of the upbringing of responsible children and maintaining health, education, child welfare and community development. I have excellent networking skill as I know about the resources available to help to maintain children's health, welfare. Being a social activist and lawyer, I have great experience in family related complex situations and introduced in need to the community support system. Frequently I established a trusting supportive relationship with my clients. Seventeen years of combined social as well legal experience using family’s complex situations and two- and half-year experience in providing supportive services to new immigrants and their families. Strong communication (excellent written and spoken English, Punjabi, Hindi), interviewing and assessment skill as well as interpersonal, analytical, organizational and presentation skills along with expert knowledge of community resources and experience in conduction public speaking and interpretation. Leadership skills evident in motivating others, building team spirit and working as a part of the team. Proficient in computer software, including Microsoft Office Suite and internet applications.
