About Narjes Mohammadzadeh

Narges is a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) with over a decade of experience across international and Canadian laboratories. She practiced as an MLT abroad for nearly 10 years, building depth in core-lab testing (chemistry, hematology, coagulation, immunoassay) and pre-analytical workflows. After relocating to Canada, she completed The Michener Institute’s MLT Bridging Program (Dec 2023) to align her training with Ontario standards. Currently at SHL and LifeLabs, Narges supports end-to-end operations, from patient-facing phlebotomy, specimen collection/processing, and accessioning to analyzer operation, daily maintenance/troubleshooting, calibrations, and Westgard-based QC review, with results verified in the LIS and critical notifications handled per SOP. Colleagues know her as hard-working, highly organized, responsible, and exceptionally reliable, with a self-driven quality mindset and calm, patient-centred communication. Narges consistently safeguards specimen integrity, QA/QC compliance, and turnaround times in high-volume environments while contributing to a collaborative, accreditation-ready culture.
