About Nasreen Hassan

My greatest strength is learning new skills and adapting to changing environments. My biggest passion is teaching what I know to others and giving them an opportunity to pave their own path in work and life. As a young migrant to Australia at the beginning of my career, building a new life, I was grateful for the opportunity to study a Cert 3 Medical Admin and Terminology and Dictaphone Typing at Adept Training which started me on a lifelong rewarding career and a journey of learning and growing. I was blessed to have the mentorship of an Educator at the Campbelltown TAFE who gave me my first job opportunity and valuable on the job training. The benefits and sense of community this career has afforded me have exceeded my expectations and I soon found a passion for creating a welcoming environment for vulnerable patients attending hospital appointments. I realised it enhanced their journey through the healthcare system and made them more receptive to information that would improve their health. Fast forward several years of experience in different roles within the healthcare system I've discovered and developed a unique skillset of listening to understand an individuals needs and am able to comprehend a concept from their unique perspective. This makes explaining a process to people in a way that's easy for them to grasp satisfying. I find immense joy in making others journey's easier and more joyful. As such, I would love to take this opportunity of possessing extensive experience and knowledge and give back to others who are looking for a new opportunity in work and life. I am undertaking a Cert 4 in Training and Assessment with RAM Training Services to be able to transition into an Educator position that will allow me to share my knowledge and expertise in a professional capacity.
