I have dedicated nearly 16 years to the Primary Industries and for the past six years as the assistant manager of my own company, overseeing various dairy farms in South Canterbury. My career began as an assistant outdoor recreation instructor at Mackenzie College in Fairlie, where I developed strong skills in risk management and emergency response.Then as the Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking (PCBU) for my company for the last 6 years, I was able to strengthen my expertise in health and safety before transitioning into a role as an HR & H&S Administrator at Oceania before becoming the Health & Safety advisor. My passions include conducting event investigations, driving continuous and process improvements, and supporting people with well-being initiatives. Having been self-employed for six years, I understand that the most crucial aspect of any business is its people (He tāngata) and their well-being next to streamlining business processes.Outside of work, I enjoy snowboarding, wakeboarding, camping, fishing, hunting and spending quality time with my children.
