About Natalia McCormack

I am a graduate of the University of Tennessee-Knoxville with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Business Administration. After thorough exploration of several fields, I am committed to using the skills, experience and knowledge I have developed in community organizing and development. Though my focus is on macro social work, I would like to continue exploring micro social work and mental health services, where I might utilize my premier communication, people, and organizational skills, as well as Spanish fluency and passion for community welfare. Having always had a wide range of interests and skills, my work experience is fairly varied. From working as a set assistant on the set of Captain America: Civil War, to earning an internship at 21st Mortgage for the summer of 2016, to cleaning houses, to working as a Student Success Agent in the field of Education Technology, I have flourished in each of these positions and my success with these experiences demonstrate that I am adaptable, flexible, and a quick-learner. Colleagues know me to be a highly detail- and goal-oriented individual, willing to go above and beyond the call of duty to complete a project and to get a job done, as long as I know what is expected of me and what my duties are. I believe my strongest qualities are my passion and drive, particularly regarding the well-being of people and their communities. Fully understanding the responsibilities that come with working in this field, I have thoroughly evaluated my own work ethic and commitment. I have consistently surpassed expectations in past responsibilities and am confident I will work even harder to serve a community in such necessary work. I am currently looking for a full-time position in or around Knoxville, TN, specifically in community organizing and development, but more broadly in the social service and mental health fields.
