About Natalia Siennicka

I am a beginner Data Scientist with a passion for data analysis and uncovering hidden patterns. I started my career as a surveyor, where I gained a strong foundation in mathematics, statistics, and spatial data analysis. However, my curiosity and fascination with the possibilities of data analysis drew me towards a new professional path. In 2022, I obtained a certificate of completion from the Data Science course at the Software Development Academy, which helped me transition from my previous industry. By the end of 2022, I joined the Dataplace.ai team as a Junior Data Scientist, where I am currently working. I collaborate with a team of experts in the field of data science to develop innovative predictive models and analyze large datasets to identify key business trends. My tasks include data exploration, building predictive models, and visualizing analysis results. The scope of responsibilities allows me to gain new knowledge and skills in programming, model development, as well as understanding business problems. Some of the everyday challenges I face include: Searching for and collecting domain-specific data for individual client projects. Integrating data from various sources, cleaning and transforming it into a format suitable for further analysis. Visualizing spatial data in a client-friendly manner. Creating statistical models using machine learning techniques that can forecast patterns in data. The skills I continuously develop in my current role include: Data analysis and knowledge extraction Programming (Python) Predictive modeling and machine learning Statistics and data analysis Spatial data and GIS Data visualization I am very satisfied with the career path I have chosen because I believe that data science is the key to innovation and success in a rapidly evolving world.
