About Natalia Walcott

I am a 3L at Tulane University Law School pursuing a Certificate in Sports Law. I am interested in Intellectual Property and Sports and Entertainment law. I am currently looking for my post graduate job. During my 2L year, I served as Junior Member of the Tulane Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property, Secretary for Tulane's Black Law Students Association, a Junior Managing Editor for The Sports Lawyer, an Intern with Tulane's Athletic Compliance Office, and a Legal Extern for the U.S. Coast Guard. These opportunities allowed me to gain experience in legal research and writing and contract drafting. Additionally, I was a recipient of the Louis A. Martinet Scholarship and the Tulane Pro Bono Rising Star Award, for having over 100 pro bono hours. For the first half of the summer, I served as a Law Clerk at Egenberg Trial Lawyers. For the second half, I will do directed research, with Gabe Feldman, and Study Abroad in Berlin, Germany. My directed research will focus on the impacts of the House v. NCAA settlement on NIL, revenue sharing, and the future of the NCAA. My Study Abroad program will teach me the art of negotiation and mediation. I am looking forward to these enriching opportunities. As a 3L, I am serving as the Senior Articles Editor of The Sports Lawyer and Managing Editor for the Tulane Journal of Technology & Intellectual Property. I am very excited for what my last year of law school has in store.
