About Natalie Bauer

I am a Consultant at Deloitte Canada who believes in failing fast, and keeping the needs of our clients & community front of mind. My work at Deloitte often involves working with IT teams to form strategies to support their IT goals. solutions using the System Development Life Cycle. I like to say that I am the bridge that connects IT with other business areas of the company. I can understand business needs as well as technical limitations, and often act as a liaison to coordinate project efforts and make sure that the client’s needs are successfully met. Through combining my understanding of technology and my enthusiasm for creating a positive client experience, I can do what inspired me to get into IT and business in the first place: help people solve problems with technological solutions. I get the most fulfillment out of seeing clients happy with the work my team did, and learn the most from their feedback if they need more. Every new project is a new learning opportunity, and even though my degree is finishing soon I know my time learning new things is far from over! I consider myself to be an excellent communicator, and strive to be an empathetic ear to anyone who needs it. I hope to someday use my interpersonal and technical skills in a leadership capacity, as I would like to empower my colleagues to achieve success alongside me. I would first like to spend more time in the IT project space before pursuing either an MBA or other professional certificates, like a PMP or CISSP. In my spare time you can find me baking, reading, or hitting the trails for a hike or snowshoeing expedition (depending on the weather).
