About Natalie Dyson

Natalie qualified as a commercial property lawyer in 2008 and has a wealth of experience in the charity sector. She has recently taken up the post of CEO of Diversity Voice, a Somerset based charity whose aim is to help refugees to integrate and settle into the local community. Natalie has extensive voluntary experience. At the start of the COVID19 pandemic Natalie co-founded and chaired Coronavirus Community Help Taunton (a network of 40 volunteer groups with over volunteers in Somerset delivering support, collecting prescriptions and shopping to elderly and vulnerable people during the COVID19 crisis). The group featured on national news and received commendations from the Lord Lieutenant of Somerset, High Sheriff of Somerset and Mayor of Taunton. Natalie received the British Empire Medal in the 2021 Queens Birthday Honours and The Somerset Medal for her role in the pandemic. In 2022 she founded Homes for Ukraine Taunton, a group which has helped to bring over Ukrainian refugees to the U.K. Natalie was one of the first people in the U.K. to welcome a Ukrainian family into her home under the Homes for Ukraine scheme. She has recently set up Jobs for Ukraine Somerset to help Ukrainian refugees to find work. Outside of work, Natalie is a keen skier and Exeter Chiefs fan. She likes to keep fit by running and walking her dog. She is also a trustee of St Giles Animal Rescue. Natalie speaks intermediate-level Spanish.
