Adjunct Professor at the Chair in Comparative Constitutional Law at the Jagiellonian University in Cracow. My doctoral dissertation titled 'British constitutional law and membership in the European Union' was defended with distinction in December 2021. An active speaker at national and international conferences and a recipient of multiple prestigious scholarships, my research focuses on comparative constitutional law, particularly: the impact of EU law on national constitutions, institutional protection of human rights, political systems of the UK, Germany, and Austria. Dr N. Fox is a regular member of the International Society of Public Law (ICON-S) and International Association of Constitutional Law (IACL). Since 2024, Co-Investigator in the research project “Unwritten Constitutional Norms within Written Constitutional Frameworks: The Interplay Between Law and Politics in Contemporary Democracy.” The grant is part of the Future Democracy Lab (FDL) flagship project, contributing to the “Future of Society” priority research area and forming part of the strategic program “Excellence Initiative – Research University” at Jagiellonian University. From 2019 to 2023, Principal Investigator of the project “British Constitutional Law and Membership in the European Union,” funded by the National Science Centre – Preludium 15 (2018/29/N/HS5/00685). The project analyzed the impact of EU law on the British constitution and the constitutional consequences of the UK’s withdrawal from the EU (Brexit). From 2017 to 2019, Co-Investigator in the project “Is the Institution of Minister of Justice Indispensable in a Contemporary Democratic State Ruled by Law?” funded by the National Science Centre (2016/21/B/HS5/00445).
