About Natalie Gott

As a graduate student at Harvard University's Extension School earning an M.A. in Sustainability, I am passionate about achieving Environmental Social Justice with effective climate action. My academic journey began at UC Berkeley, where I earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, complemented by a minor in Journalism. My passion for equitable climate action and a liveable climate for all fuels my career. I am deeply committed to advancing climate action initiatives that promote meaningful Environmental Social Justice, such as equitable access to clean water, healthy food, and green spaces. My professional interests are centered on creating policies that ensure the responsible management of natural resources to mitigate and adapt to the growing impacts of climate change. I believe meaningful change occurs at both the grassroots and government levels. I actively contribute to fostering inclusive outdoor spaces through my work with Queer Crush Climbing, a nonprofit dedicated to creating safe spaces for LGBTQIA+ folks within the climbing community. Serving as the lead Grants Coordinator and a Meetup Host, I play a pivotal role in securing funding and organizing events that unite our community. My work with Queer Crush Climbing reflects my broader commitment to making the outdoors more accessible and inclusive for everyone. In my career, I aim to create effective climate action solutions that protect both at-risk communities and the natural world. I feel that this is only possible when all levels of stakeholders are present in climate action tactics, working with community members of all kinds.
