About Natalie Gregory

I am a passionate, capable, innovative, quick-learning, detail-oriented leader. With over 10 years of experience in the public library arena, I've learned a lot about community engagement, emerging technologies, and diverse programming. I have the technical experience for most of the back-end library functions including copy cataloging, collection development and management, and physical processing. I love working directly with the public, especially in planning and executing programs that are engaging and fill community needs. I have spearheaded several innovative projects, including Tween Gaming Club, circulating Nintendo Switch consoles, and Summer Book Camp with Signum University. I've learned a lot from both my state and regional library associations. As President of Cache Valley Library Association serving in 2021, restarting connections and activities after the screeching halt of 2020 has been a challenge and great lesson in leadership and working with my executive committee. Utah Library Association has provided me with the opportunity to advocate for paraprofessional staff as Chair of the Library Support Staff and Paraprofessionals Round Table. I understand how important every member of a library staff is, and fight for the rights of every team member.
