About Natalie Kim

I am passionate about pursuing avenues of civic and educational projects that contribute to community building. Meaningful architecture makes resources available to communities. In collaborative settings, I adapt quickly, value constructive feedback, and take initiative to accomplish deadlines. Through my professional experiences, I have had opportunities to streamline project proposals. I have delivered and drafted full design development and construction document sets. I have participated and initiated in schematic design changes during internal design charettes. Along the way, I have received meaningful mentors who have invested in my career development and goals. Academically, I am graduating with my Bachelors of Architecture with Honors of Summa Cum Laude from Cal Poly Pomona. I am involved in multiple campus engagements that seek to improve student life and culture. Specifically during my Presidency over the College of Environmental Design, I sought to advocate mental health resources and create opportunities for students to get connected to campus resources. My experiences have strengthened my commitment to designing spaces that foster community and improve access to resources. As I move forward, I am eager to apply my skills in architecture and leadership to create a meaningful impact.
