About Natalie Perri

Hey there! I'm a Master's student at the Weitzman School of Design at University of Pennsylvania. My graduate thesis is all about building floating cities that are climate resilient and environmentally friendly. With sea levels rising, it's a big challenge, but I'm excited to design for life on the water and help people facing displacement. I received a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from The Ohio State University and have worked on some amazing projects during internships. I've worked at all phases of the design process, from concept development to construction documentation. Plus, I can make some pretty sweet presentations using diagrams, 3D models, drawings, and animations(: One of my favorite experiences so far was working for a startup that works with LiDAR scanners. I started out at an entry-level position, but thanks to my creativity and drive, I was quickly promoted to a director-level role in marketing. It was an amazing opportunity to learn, grow, and make an impact. Last thing to mention, I've learned some technical skills too, from 3D modeling to 2D visualization to rendering. And I'm not done yet – I'm excited to keep learning, growing, and building a career that's fun, fulfilling, and makes a difference.
