About Nataliya Roth

It was a pleasure and excitement for me to work on solutions supporting human and animal health during my professional carrier. In the past 16 years I was working for Biomin and after the aquisition/merge for DSM/dsm-firmenich. I have started my work in R&D and product management and continued working with large data in its depth and width during my PhD about antimicrobial use and resistance in animal production. The depth was achieved through the work in the lab receiving detailed information from every animal trial and data on antibiotic use and resistance from every country. The width was achieved through the overview of results from multiple animal trials, and global overview of antimicrobial use and resistance data. This part of my work has resulted in multiple scientific publications and invitations for speeches in various scientific and commercial events. The work of last four years was providing me the ability to understand business and operational work of Biomin and later DSM organizations. I truly enjoyed working with teams from research and innovation, sustainability, production, registration, legal, quality control, procurement, logistic, finance, M&A as well as marketing and sales from every region. The work provided me variety of new skills which included the lead of work and communication with multiple stakeholders and different individuals of organization with various approaches, goals, and ways of working. The position in the last years provided me the opportunity to work internationally, travel and visit customers. Understanding the customer needs is the key to develop and supply needed solutions for animal producers and prosperity of the business on customer side as well as within our organization. I was invited to various internal and external meetings with suppliers, customers, and colleagues during the last years. It was a big pleasure to collaborate with different countries of the world which has provide the possibility to know, understand and tolerate different cultures. Use of different languages supported the collaborative activities.
