About Nataly Alcala

I'm passionate about Early Childhood Education and helping children reach their developmental milestones according to how each child is able to individually learn. I've been an Assistant Preschool Teacher for almost 2 years now at two different preschools. My previous school job was at ABC Little School in North Hills, CA. I was a Part-Time Assistant Preschool teacher at ABC Little School due to the main teacher of the classroom only needing my assistance for about 4 hours every other day of the week. Currently, I'm a full-time Assistant Preschool Teacher at North Valley Christian School. I've also had about 3 years of retail experience. I use to work at a clothing store called Charming Charlie and also a gift/card store called Ambers Hallmark Shop. Both of those stores are located at the Northridge Mall in California. I received my Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education and a Preschool Certificate at Los Angeles Pierce College in 2020. I'm currently working on my Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education at California State University, Northridge. I hope to be graduating from CSUN by May 2022. My goal for the future is to hopefully gain experience in being a Preschool Teacher of my own classroom or possibly even transitioning to a Kindergarten classroom. After some years of teaching I would hope to eventually become a Preschool Director. I like to keep my options open and keep an open mind on how I'd want to spend the rest of my Early Childhood career. My coworkers and professors have described me to be very hard-working, responsible, and dedicated at what I do whether it be from my success in school or working with children in general. I put 101% in everything that I try to accomplish, and I always make sure to give the best of myself as a student and as a teacher.
