About Natasa Loizou

I am a professional and researcher in the field of security, an international consultant and a certified trainer in strategic planning and innovation, with recognized experience in Latin America and Europe. Throughout my career, I have led key initiatives in sectors such as defense, security, public administration, science and technology, contributing to sustainable development in local and international markets. My academic background includes a Bachelor's degree in Politics and International Relations (University of Kent) and a Master's degree in International Security (University of Bristol), complemented by certifications in agile project management (PM4R-Interamerican Development Bank), business innovation (University of Salamanca), and transport safety in Latin America (IDBx). These tools have enabled me to implement innovative, results-oriented solutions tailored to the specific needs of each organization. Among my most notable achievements are the reduction of over firearms and 21 tons of ammunition in Argentina through agile methodologies, as well as the creation of 5 Federal Innovation and Transfer Centers, fostering public-private collaboration between universities, companies, and research institutions. I had the honor of being recognized by the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs (UNLIREC) as a female leader in the region for policies on arms control, disarmament, and gender-based violence prevention. With over 20 years of experience in management and leadership, I have developed a unique strategic vision to identify opportunities and risks, transforming them into concrete and innovative capabilities. Born in Cyprus, educated in Great Britain, and having built my professional career in Argentina, I offer a global perspective with a deep understanding of local and regional dynamics. My personal strengths include agile leadership, proactivity, creativity, adaptability and mediation skills in diverse and multicultural environments.
