Currently a Consumer Insights Manager in the Global Commercial Excellence team at Water Wipes, ensuring the consumer is at the heart of everything we do, while staying true to our WaterWipes values; Bravery, Excellence and Respect.Prio to this, I was a Senior Research Manager & Associate Director at MetrixLab Rotterdam focusing on brand assessments, campaign testing, and measuring media effectiveness in order to give clients actionable insights to improve their marketing strategies & activities. Before MetrixLab I was a Strategy & Insight Analyst ay Danone South Africa, focusing on analyses, market trends, consumer insights, stakeholder management, storytelling, and insight dissemination across the business to key stakeholders. I worked across Danone's brands including but not limited to NutriDay, UltraMel, Activia, YogiSip, and DanUp. At Danone we work across multiple teams in order to embrace diversity of skills and knowledge to create the best possible outcomes. I have a keen interest in consumer behavior as well as market research.Lastly, I also have experience at Nielsen South Africa where I had extensive opportunities tomanage clients and create analytical pieces to identify opportunities and risks in the market. I had the pleasure of presenting these key insights to various Executive teams across my global multinational clients. During my time at Nielsen I was part of a client team who was awarded the "global team of the year" award and also part of a turnaround team who went from "worst globally" to "best globally" in terms of client satisfaction scores.Beyond work, I love to be outdoors hiking, camping, running and practicing my photography skills. One of my favorite adventures is doing walking trails through the Kruger National Park where we frequently see wild animals on foot and listen to the sounds of the bush at night. I also absolutely thrive on doing charitable work. I have been a fosterer of abandoned cats to rehabilitate them so they can be re-homed, and I have also run a project where I have up-skilled ladies in the South African community to create better lives for them and their families. Lastly, I am a firm believer in personal development and I am continuously engaging in different courses to improve various skills and lead a life that I love.
