Background

About Natasha Baker

In the last 18 years, Natasha has attended many conferences, seminars and workshops to further her education and skills to stay up-to-date on research and trends. She has served clients and patients in several states (VA, FL, GA, and NC) in a large number of different hospitals with different care providers, having to be flexible and adaptable to her surrounding work environment. Natasha served women who had non-medicated labors as well as labors with inductions, augmentations, epidurals, cesareans and VBACs. Through her personal pregnancies and wellness studies as a nurse by trade, but doula by passion, she has encountered several stressors and realized the balanced life she needed. In 2014, she decided to commit herself to a disciplined yogic practice and noticed a positive shift. In 2015, she decided to take the next steps to complete a 32 hours of pre/ postnatal teacher training at Asheville Yoga Center and HYU (Hot Asana University). Later following into a 200 Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) training program at Embrace Yoga Studios in Fayetteville, NC. In 2014, her first publication was published spreading doula awareness in Fayetteville City View Magazine. In 2016, she opened her first brick and mortar studio offering a variety of different services to the motherhood community. March 2019, she certified in basic and performance training through Rock Tape to introduce the concept of skin/fascial/nerve gliding to help reduce tissue swelling improve movement and modulate pain with the use of compression band floss on a case-by-case basis with active and potential clients.
