About Natasha Cheatham
As a Peer Professional and Entrepreneur, I embody a person-first approach in all that I do. I aim to use my training as an Addictions Peer Recovery Coach (CAPRC I) and Certified Community Health Worker / Certified Recovery Specialist (CHW/CRS) to advocate, alleviate, educate, and elevate the Global Majority Recovery Movement and the Rest is Resistance Movement. I have dedicated my career to eradicating the stigma and oppressive conditions in my community that has kept us bound for far too long in a perpetual state of surviving dis-ease. I believe it is our willingness to share our experiences, our stories of failure, legacy, and success that will ultimately lead us to liberation. Through art and advocacy, I center my work on community building, neighborhood beautification + development, restorative hospitality, and self-recovery. My ultimate goal is to open a luxurious, recovery-oriented, bed & breakfast (with spa) to further the mission of the Minority Recovery Collective Incorporated.
