About Natasha Hau

Passionate about youth mental health, clinical education, and building capacity in regional and remote communities. I started my career as a social worker and youth mental health clinician in the headspace graduate program, moving from Sydney to WA - somewhere I had never been before - to work across three diverse centres: Kalgoorlie, Broome, and Cannington (Perth). Through this experience, I developed a deep appreciation for how the headspace model adapts to meet the unique needs of different communities. I've worked in multidisciplinary teams of varying capacities, supported young people with a wide range of presentations, and gained valuable insight into the challenges and opportunities of delivering mental health care in regional and remote settings. Now, stepping into my role as the Clinical Educator at headspace Kalgoorlie, I’m focused on: 🟢 Supporting students and early career clinicians through supervision, mentoring, and training 🟢 Strengthening pathways into regional and remote mental health work 🟢 Developing resources and systems to make learning and transition into practice smoother for the next generation of clinicians I’m particularly interested in clinical supervision, schema therapy, and working with complex presentations, and I aim to further my skills in these areas to better support both young people and the clinicians who work with them.
