About Natasha Kovach

After spending the first years of my career in Emergency Medical Services as an EMT-A an opportunity to join the Oil & Gas world opened up and I jumped on board. In 10 years at Shell I’ve gained valuable on the job training from regulatory compliance, experience with numerous operations/ businesses, and emergency response and preparedness. This experience propelled me to a year of learning and growth gaining my Associate Business Continuity Professional designation and putting it to work immediately supporting our US, Canadian and global operations through a world wide pandemic in 2020. I was awarded the Disaster Recovery Institute newcomer of the year 2021 for my work globally with Shell through the pandemic. In 2021 I started by Bachelor’s of Emergency and Security Management Studies at the JIBC and am looking forward to submitting for my Certified Business Continuity Professional designation. Currently I support Shell’s Europe, Middle East, Africa/ Europe, Russia, Asia (EMEA/ARA) businesses with their emergency response and preparedness as an Emergency Management Advisor. When I’m not at work you’ll find me volunteering with animal welfare organizations or camping in our beautiful Alberta Rocky Mountains.
