Chartered Management Accountant and accredited financial modeller with more than 15 years’ experience in the utility industry with specialisation in financial modelling of new and existing investments (coal power stations / new renewables and gas stations)• Developed the commercial strategy for the Finance Advisory Services (FAS) Panel contractors and the relevant evaluation criteria (Contract value R300m).• Co-ordinated Capital investment committee submissions at executive level (Projects >R300m).• Developed a Renewables Financial model to evaluate various contracting options (R6bn to R20bn)• Contributed as finance stream lead in various new projects (e.g. New Gas plant 1500MW and various solar/wind projects between R0.5bn to R9bn).• Contribute as a member of the Transmission investment committee to approve projects under R10m.• Financial modelling for coal fired power stations’ remaining life incremental Levelised Cost Of Energy (LCOE).(Capital expenditure between R5bn to R50bn dependant on which station).• Received Chairmans award and Management award for innovation as part of the renewables team.
