About Natasha Steer

Hi there, I'm Natasha, a certified trauma recovery coach. In my coaching practice, I draw from my experiences as an educator who’s worked with youth for over a decade, my research and writing on motherhood, as well as my experiences as a single/lone mom.I believe in helping those who need the most support in our society, as well as those who are already supporting that population. I know first-hand about the lack of adequate, compassionate support that exists for such folks. I know how lonely and isolating it can all feel. I also know what it’s like to feel hopeless - and then have that hope returned to you. That's why I do the work I do. As a coach, I focus on your safety and wellbeing first and foremost. Living with trauma can be incredibly painful and invalidating. Working together, you’ll come to understand your coping strategies and begin to let go of those which no longer serve you as you observe and learn other ways of moving through the world. Regardless of your past or other experiences, your voice matters here and you control the pace. I’m here to walk beside you - from baby steps to leaps and bounds - ready to pause and sit with you when it’s time to rest. I accept clients from all backgrounds and identities, and specialize in working with caregivers of teens or young adults, specifically those who are navigating mental health challenges.
