I have been a registered nurse for almost 20 years. For over eight years I've worked as a Perioperative RN in a teaching and trauma level hospital. I am now senior staff with experience in trauma, general surgery, gynecological surgery, pacemakers, orthopedics, thoracics, plastic surgery and spine surgery. I am proficient in all perioperative roles, and, being a charge nurse and spine clinician, I am comfortable in leadership and teaching roles as well. I am a quick thinker. I am conscientious and efficient, and I can keep my head in emergent situations. I am able to find commonality with patients from all walks of life in order to reassure and support them through stressful and uncomfortable procedures and situations. I love my husband, my daughters, and my hairless cat Merlin! Golfing, weightlifting, and painting are my hobbies, and food is my passion; I'm always excited to try something new. I'm looking forward to branching out and trying something new in my career as well!
