About Nate Mocalis

I have 15+ years of service with the US Air Force. My flight experience includes global missions in the C-130 and KC-135 involving cargo operations, aeromedical airlift, formation, airdrop, aerial refueling, combat and combat support missions. I have over 3,500 hours of flight time in the KC-135, C-130, T-6, T-1, CT-156 and other airframes. I also have 3 years of experience instructing new pilots in the T-6 Texan II aircraft and was recognized as an Air Education and Training Command Master Instructor. I served as an exchange officer with the Royal Canadian Air Force instructing NATO Flight Training in the Harvard Mark II. As the Operations Officer for NATO Flight Training in Canada I was responsible for overseeing all operations for Phase II and Phase undergraduate pilot training, Phase IVT advanced fighter training, and the Flight Instructor School for our Canadian, Singaporean, and Hungarian allies. I leveraged my breadth of experience across multiple airframes to promote best practices across the US and Royal Canadian Air Force pilot training enterprises.
