About Nate Rabe

I have been actively engaged in community development and humanitarian affairs, both internationally and in Australia, for over 25 years. Beginning with the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) through to the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), I have established a reputation for innovation, boldness, and vision. I am an out of the box thinker as well as a critical thinker. I value balance and diversity and have demonstrated these throughout my career by having a number of concurrent interests. My work in development informs my writing which in turn sparks new intellectual and professional interests. This range of life experience and active, vigorous pursuit of ideas makes me a unique senior manager and leader. As such, I fit best within organisations and cultures that value new ways of working, experimentation and innovation. As a leader I relish building teams, developing and delivery strategic outcomes and representing organisations and ideas at a high level.
