Prior to his current role, Ravitz was Vice President of Digital Content at ESPN, leading the content and consumer experience on ESPN’s digital platforms, including ESPN.com, the ESPN App on mobile and connected TV devices, as well as Fantasy. Ravitz was also one of the key executives critical to the launch of ESPN+, the most successful over-the-top subscription service for sports fans in the United States. Over his 17 years at ESPN, Ravitz has grown to lead a variety of teams including digital editorial and video production, audience engagement and insights, and social media strategy, including content for ESPN’s major brands and sports verticals across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and Snapchat. Ravitz also led the successful relaunch of ESPN’s YouTube channels after a multi-year absence from the platform. Under Ravitz’s leadership, ESPN Digital was No. 1 in the sports category (source: Comscore) for a record 40 consecutive months and had its best year ever in 2021, setting a new Sports category record with 120 million unique visitors.
