About Nate Thornton

I am an Operations Manager within the Cyber Security Operations department of MUFG Bank. In my role I work with teams across the globe to expand and maintain the Bank's Security Operations Center, helping develop the team's strategy and drive its implementation. I also work with several other teams across Security Operations to develop strategies, communicate with leadership, and drive change. I have developed skills in project management, cloud architecture development, security engineering, and programming; however, I consider my communication skills to be my greatest asset. I take pride in my ability to understand highly technical topics and translate them into concepts that can be easily understood by leadership and business partners. This has resulted in significant differences in my team's ability to achieve its goals and communicate its successes to leadership.
