About Nate Weidner

Originally from Northern California, sports & travel have always played a major role in my life. After graduating from California State University in 2005, where I played intercollegiate golf & football, I had the good fortune of fulfilling my dream of professional golf for several years while travelling the world. While that endeavour didn't lead to the type of financial success I might have hoped for, the lessons learned and life experience I gained have turned out to be more valuable than any monetary value ever could have. I currently oversee business operations and provide strategic leadership as Managing Director of STS Golf Services LLC. Since 2015, I've helped build, launch & operate indoor golf & sports entertainment venues around the globe with stops in London England, Shanghai China, Bangkok Thailand, & most recently back home in the U.S. in Scottsdale Arizona. Previously, I've garnered experience as a General Manager, Golf & Fitness Instructor, an Enterprise Sales Executive in the I.T. industry, Acquisitions Manager in the startup world. through my early years & college as a bartender, server, doorman and yes, even as a dishwasher. In my spare time, I run a consulting business helping private homeowners & commercial enterprises add fully immersive entertainment systems to their properties featuring augmented reality technology and interactive sports simulator components. I also occasionally enjoy driving for Uber which has become quite the networking tool at times. Additionally, I held part-time seasonal jobs in college on the Toys-R-Us graveyard inventory team, at Victoria's Secret (Yes, they hire men), in film & television as a production assistant, and was a part-time actor once upon a time (No I've never been in anything you've seen). Essentially, from the age of 15 onward we would find zero gaps if I were to breakdown a detailed list of professional experiences (Although it's up for debate whether I'm proud to admit some of them or not). Above all these things in this "About" me section, I love people. My family and friends mean everything to me and creating meaningful relationships with new "family" is something I look forward to and strive for every day.
