About Nathan Adamo

Personal habit building, chronic disease prevention, and new ideas for health care payment and delivery are three topics that interest me greatly. I’ve learned in my current role that some of the most common chronic diseases (e.g. cardiovascular disease and various metabolic diseases) are largely preventable, yet they continue to spread–why? In part, they grow because habit change is hard (as I know from personal experience in other areas!). Aside from the widespread chronic disease problem, I have also observed a lack of price transparency in our health care system which hinders people from making thoughtful, cost-effective decisions for their own care. I hope to be part of positive change in one or more of these areas. After previous analytical roles in operations and finance, I have now found a place in product management, which suits my personality with a fun blend of commercial strategy, business analysis, and clinical knowledge. Product management is also rather entrepreneurial, which harks back to my brief foray into entrepreneurship as a new college grad. I am grateful for these opportunities to learn and grow, and aspire to develop and manage products that solve challenges in health care.
