About Nathan Bankston

I am recently retired from the U.S. Army after 22 years active duty as a senior-enlisted combat arms leader, with an Active DOD Secret Clearance. I am enthusiastically looking outward in anticipation for a career in which I have the opportunity to use my transferable leadership and training skills and experiences. Along with my time as a leader in a high operations tempo environment I have over seven years of formal professional education experience as a facilitator and instructor, training in small group and large group settings. I am motivated, focused, resilient and professional. I desire to make a difference in the lives of those around me. I work best hands on, and I like to execute as a member of a team. In my last job I helped manage the training and resource management process ensuring a fair and impartial system of access and priority to ranges and training areas on Joint Base Lewis-McChord and the Yakima Training Center. I additionally managed two training sites, their associated SharePoint reservation systems and personnel enabling over military personnel access to I Corps resources annually. I was the Knowledge Management Representative / Content Manager for my section's A365 Teams and OneSource SharePoint and also the Government Purchase Card holder for my section. I am passionate about the outdoors and the outdoors experience. I am an avid mountain biker and I love camping, backpacking, and snowmobiling.
