About Nathan Berglas

With a foundation in working with people and an aptitude for mathematics, I've spent my life connecting creative skills with technical ones. In the past I have spend much of my time in theatre, from acting, to writing, to directing. That taught me how to both follow, and to lead. As a project manager I had to ensure efficiency and satisfaction in teams with up to over 25 members. From this, I have lots of experience working with people, for example, I performed in my High School's Improv team, becoming the national champions of 2022. In being a writer and director of a children's play, to running and leading my high school's 3D printing and design club, I've gained experience in leadership, communication all the while demonstrating passion and creativity in my work. In my free time I program, write, play D&D as a dungeon master, and play games with friends. In the past I've worked on projects such as writing a mathematics research paper, making multiple video games in C#, C++, and GDScript (Similar to Python) in game engines such as Unity and Godot. I'm somebody who loves learning, from teaching myself to code, to researching rocketry. In my classes at the university of Waterloo I've learned skills related to software development, such as Linux, Bash, Git, and others. I've also learned newtonian physics, academic writing, linear algebra, calculus, Racket, and C. In summary, I'm a person with a penchant for working with others in fields that exude creativity, innovation, problem solving. I pride myself at being a great communicator, a go-getter, and quick-learner.
