Background

About Nathan Bezayiff

I am a professor at a college. I am interested in working with other people to improve physics education. My main interests are using powerpoints to enhance student learning. I am actually interested in collaborating with people to study whether powerpoint methods of instruction are better than handwritten methods of instruction. I have found in my own classes that powerpoint methods deliver course content faster than handwritten methods of lecture and leave more time for hands-on, in-class, more real-world projects and labs for physics learning. However, I would like to see if such a claim is true more universally at other colleges beyond my own classes. Send me an email if you would like to study this claim further. Also, I work on coming with new labs and in-class activities. I have written one lab book for elementary physics for non-science majors at the university level, of which the cover is shown below. I am always looking for more ideas, collaboration, etc. Send me an email if you want more information or if such projects interest you. I prefer not to send the presentations over email. If this topic interests you, invite me to give a presentation at your college. I do not speak for more than 45 minutes.
