Nathan offers a proven capability for complex project planning, management, and execution, alongside a dedication to robust environmental science and effective policy. Over a decade of experience as a project and portfolio manager for both government and non-governmental programs demonstrates a proven ability to recognize the qualities a project needs to succeed. Nathan's engagement with water quality and environmental issues includes wide ranging research on the Long Island Sound, Chesapeake Bay, and Delaware River watersheds. Nathan holds a Master’s degree in Earth and Environmental Science from Wesleyan University, and a graduate certificate in Environmental Science, Health, and Policy from the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services. Nathan has spend time embedded in a francophone community in Cameroon with the 501(c)(3) non-profit Breaking Ground, engaged in water quality analysis and health impact assessment with city government. This experience combines with an extensive research background looking at water quality and environmental impacts from wastewater and nutrient pollution to New York City's waterways and the Long Island Sound. Nathan is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and a certified Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Professional (GISP).
