About Nathan Brooks

Nathan Brooks helps businesses create value for their customers and staff by successfully implementing practical solutions to strategic initiatives and creating a work environment based on trust and fairness. He is a seasoned executive who has managed and built a complex organization that served a diverse membership base of over 4,200 members and currently serves as the Executive Director for an organization of over 500 members. As a forward-thinking individual, his expertise in completing strategic initiatives makes him an asset to any organization focused on customer experience. His integrity, assertiveness, and years of experience have made him a reliable and trusted colleague among staff and membership. Nathan is influential and authentic, making him stand out as a leader. Two words best describe the results achieved under Nathan’s leadership: Positive outcomes. His “WHY” is simply to contribute and make a difference. Nathan currently serves as Executive Director for the Commercial Association of REALTORS® New Mexico (CARNM), a position he’s held since May of 2023. He serves as Chief Executive Officer of the association, responsible to the Board of Directors for the effective administration of CARNM. Nathan implements administrative and operational policies, procedures, and programs, and works with the Treasurer, Budget Committee, and the Board of Directors to provide overall financial viability of the association. He also executes contracts and commitments as authorized by the Board of Directors or within established policies. In addition, Nathan ensures that policies, programs, and activities are properly communicated to the members through online communication, meetings, and events. Before his position as Executive Director, Nathan served as Chief Operating Officer for the Greater Albuquerque Association of REALTORS®, a position held from 2017-2023. He oversaw all functions and departments of the organization to ensure maximum effectiveness and alignment in support of all strategic initiatives. Nathan holds both an AAS degree in Business Administration with Honors and an AA degree in Business with Honors from Central New Mexico Community College and is currently enrolled at the University of New Mexico, pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Organizational Leadership. Nathan holds the prestigious REALTOR® Association Certified Executive (RCE) designation through the National Association of REALTORS® and is a 2022 graduate of the Leadership New Mexico Core Program. He resides in Albuquerque, NM.
