About Nathan Cooley

I am a highly motivated instructor seeking to bring my training and curriculum design experience to both large and small groups consisting of diverse backgrounds and experiences. I’ll do this by using my proven success in the classroom to leverage educational theories and methodologies to design, develop, and deliver successful as well as engaging content rich training programs that integrate instructional technologies to provide high quality in-person and virtual educational experiences. I was nominated for Career Technical Education (CTE) rookie teacher of the year in 2015, and teacher of the year in 2016. I have worked extremely hard to develop and secure an understanding of CTE: industry certifications and their use in the classroom as a teaching aid. Outside of classroom time I work with students through the National FFA Association to develop their potential for primer leadership, personal growth, and career success. My passion has developed, over the years, showing students careers in trades that can provide outstanding opportunities, with little to no college debt. I have worked with other educators from around the nation to create new virtual textbook design adoptions with Cengage Media. I have been on several textbook adopting committees for Hillsborough County Schools. Over the last two summers I have worked with others to rewrite many of the examinations given in my subject area.
