About Nathan Cross

I am a true designer/developer (UX/UI), able to take a project from initial concept sketch to polished production code. I am fluent in the language of modern web design. I believe in using web standards in conjunction with the latest advances in HTML/CSS techniques to constantly improve the user experience. I’m an advocate of user-centered design. The interface is the product. I embrace the use of javascript libraries such as jQuery, Mootools, and Prototype to inject interactivity into a project without relying on the Flash plugin. I am excited by the challenge of designing content that is well-presented regardless of the device used to access it. I have extensive experience developing sites using the most popular content management systems including Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, and Moveable Type. I have a working knowledge of PHP, Coldfusion, and ASP. Due to the ever-changing landscape of the web, the requisite tools are widely varied and constantly evolving. I never stop learning. I have expert-level knowledge of Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator, and am familiar with a huge array of related software. I’m equally at home in Windows, Mac, or Linux based environments.
