I specialise in the resolution of complex commercial disputes. I have been recognised by peer review group, Doyle’s Guide, as a “Rising Star” in “Litigation, Dispute Resolution and Insolvency” across Australia in 2021 and as a recommended “Leading Commercial Litigation & Dispute Resolution Lawyer” in South Australia in 2022 and 2023. My expertise lies in contractual, trust and shareholder disputes where I am regularly engaged for prominent South Australian families and businesses. I also specialise in equitable disputes where I have acted for SMEs and high net worth individuals in recovering funds and obtaining injunctive relief to recover confidential information and enforce contractual restraints against former employees, accountants and real estate agents. I am frequently engaged in disputes arising out of corporate insolvencies. In particular, I have acted for directors in defending insolvent trading claims by liquidators appointed to ASX-listed and large public companies and have otherwise acted for liquidators in the successful pursuit of voidable transactions. I also act in relation to professional indemnity litigation (where I have defended law firms across South Australia), estate disputes (where I have challenged Wills and pursued claims under the Inheritance (Family Provision) Act 1972 (SA)) and financial services disputes (where I have prosecuted complaints with the Australian Financial Complaints Authority).
