About Nathan Dingels

I am a graduate of Civil Engineering at the University of Iowa in Iowa City, Iowa. I am currently working as a Project Engineer at Hickman Williams and Associates (HWA) in Bend, Oregon. I am currently a registered Professional Engineer in Oregon and Minnesota. My work experience consists of consulting with clients, writing proposals for Client projects, as well as all the project design work for said projects including Site, Utility, Erosion Control, Demolition, Grading, and Storm Water Management Plans, Construction Detail Design, Creation of Construction Specifications, as well as Construction Administration on commercial, residential, and mixed use projects. I have a strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil3D, HydroCAD, Terramodel, P8, AutoTurn and MIDS. I work closely with City, County, and Watershed entities on a daily basis and have a strong knowledge of Land Development, Site Design, and Construction processes. I have previously worked for the City of Minneapolis Public Works Department for three summers in the Traffic and Parking Department doing anything and everything from standard Microsoft Excel projects to ArcGIS and AutoCAD mapping and modeling. I worked as a Project Engineer and Project Manager for a Civil Firm for 5 years, and I also worked at a startup Civil Engineering Firm briefly during 2023 as the Principal Engineer.
