About Nathan Dong

I am a driven and collaborative Full Stack Developer with a passion for building impactful solutions, and I am particularly interested in backend engineering. My experience includes working on full-stack web applications and cross-platform mobile apps in an Agile Scrum environment with teams of 10-12 developers. I specialize in database architectures, having designed and implemented systems using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.My projects demonstrate a strong ability to solve complex problems, from engineering an LLM-powered tutoring platform to creating a geotagging system using React Native and the Google Maps API for a nonprofit organization. I'm passionate about leveraging technology for good, having deployed a social media app to help promote sea otter conservation efforts and a web application that supports mental health for underserved communities.I am always eager to learn and grow, bringing a solid foundation in Data Structures and Algorithms and a commitment to creating scalable, user-centric products.
