I have significant commercial and business advisory expertise across a diverse spectrum of commercial and projects matters. My experience includes advising on a variety of public/private joint ventures, the commercial and regulatory aspects of implementing major government policies, capital and real estate projects and acting for corporate healthcare investors. I am a specialist in the health and emergency services sectors acting for a full range of clients including Police & Crime Commissioners, healthcare professionals, NHS bodies, Foundation Trusts, Fire and Rescue Authorities, Ambulance Trusts, and real estate funders and developers. I have acted on major transactions including acting for the Government of Malta on the development and expansion of their healthcare system through a US/Singaporean consortium, NHS Trust mergers and acquisitions and on the development of a new national contract to enable integrated service delivery of health and social care services to be used by Local Government, General Practice and NHS. My experience also includes advising Fire and Rescue Authorities, PCCs and Ambulance Trusts on substantial capital and transformation projects, including creation of the first LLP for Fire and Police Authorities, new tri service station hubs, station developments, and joint ventures with other emergency service organisations. I have acted on over 40 development schemes for both occupiers and developers of primary care premises, including 3PD, LIFT, polyclinics. community hospitals and social care centres. I am a regular speaker at conferences, and frequently contribute to the national and specialist sector press on key policy issues and was part of a Sky News special report on NHS property.
