I have a clear memory of the day that I realized I was passionate about Training and Talent Development. I had just been hired as a Relationship Banker at Altabank after going through a string of jobs in an attempt to figure out what I wanted to do professionally. I was attending the first day of orientation, and I was totally engaged as their Talent Development Specialist went through the opening presentation and a Trainer began to break down the basics of banking for us. But it wasn't just what they were teaching that was catching my attention; it was how they were doing it. They were both so enthusiastic and genuine, and I could tell that they were passionate about helping us prepare to be successful in this new role. In that moment, all I could think was "I want to do what they do!" I am so happy to now be recieving certifications in L&D and working as an Operations Trainer with Altabank.
