I have gained experience in the following from the theory and hands on labs I've done: Built a comprehensive skill set encompassing network scanning, traffic interception, vulnerability analysis, malware prevention, and secure network design. Proficient in managing certificates, implementing access controls in Windows and Linux, and configuring identity and access management. Adept at addressing application attacks, securing network infrastructure, and ensuring 100% commitment to network security. Extensive experience in incident response, mitigation, and recovery, including digital forensics and data backup in Windows and Linux environments. Demonstrated expertise in configuring firewalls, intrusion detection systems, virtual private networks, and secure SSH servers. Strong background in identifying application attack indicators, browser attacks, and malicious code, with a proven track record of proactive cybersecurity measures. Currently in the process of also completing the Cisco Networking Academy’s Cyber Security Analysts Career Path courses too which I feel all the skills I have gained through my different careers so far are all transferable to what ever role I may take up in the future. Graduated with a Bachelor of Social Science in Community and Youth Work in Maynooth University and a HDipp in Professional Social Care in Carlow IT. I graduated from Dublin Business School with a degree in Retail and Business Management which I completed in conjunction with Lidl Ireland. I have over 11 years of experience within retail ranging from floor staff to assistant manager positions within several different retail environments.
