About Nathan Foerster
I grew up in Anchorage, graduated from Service High School and studied Classical and Jazz at UAA for three years. I saturated my life with music; playing in three active performing bands; working at few local instrument retailers and repair shops. I graduated from the Conservatory of Recording Arts and Sciences in Arizona (What a great experience!) and have since been certified to run sound at The Alaska Center for the Performing Arts. I have been teaching music professionally in Anchorage for over ten years and I love offering my services to music beginners and enthusiasts, alike, in this wonderful community. I worked for a year in the production control room at KTUU Channel 2 as an audio-board operator and graphics producer. I now work as the Creative Director for Bailey's Furniture. I am able to employ my experience in photography, creative writing, and layout/design at this job. It's rewarding and challenging. I love spending time with my wonderful wife and three children. We enjoy camping, fishing, hiking, birdwatching, bike-riding, and more. We appreciate the beauty and opportunity Alaska has to offer.
