About Nathan George

I am currently heading into my final year at the University of Portsmouth, studying BSc (Hons) Sport Management. I've been fortunate to blend my studies with professional experience, through an internship at sports tech startup, zone14, in Vienna, Austria. My role at zone14 has allowed me to dive deep into various aspects of marketing and event management within the sports tech industry. I am continuing to work for zone14 currently, in a part-time role as Marketing Associate and some of my current responsibilities include: Digital Marketing, Social Media Management, Mailing Campaigns, SEO and Website Development. Our goal at zone14 is to democratise technology in football and provide clubs and coaches of all levels with the best tools! 🤝 My passion for sports continues on the weekend through my role as football referee, registered with Sussex County FA. I am currently operating at Step 5 & 6 of the English non-league system as a Level 5 referee, and am a member of the Sussex FA CORE Group for the 2024/25 season. I was also fortunate to have the opportunity to work as an assistant referee in the third and fourth tier in Austria, during my time in Vienna.
