About Nathan Hadley

I'm a full-stack software engineer with a love for the water, forests, mountains and glaciers. I'm passionate about climate and the transition to green energy, and always looking for ways to use my skills to make a positive impact. After studying ecology and graduating with a BS in Environmental Science, my career journey started in ecological restoration projects and research. In 2015, I moved into to the climbing industry and worked as a route setting manager at Bouldering Project for several years, overseeing new programs across two Seattle gyms with as many as 15 direct reports. In 2020, I started my transition to software with a Post-Baccalaureate in Computer Science, leading to a software engineering position at Kithward, where I completed hundreds of end-to-end tickets ranging from Ruby on Rails API development and third-party API integrations to frontend development in TypeScript and React.
